All EPAK TVRO antennas have been adjusted
to overcome the specific challenges of their respective applications.

 

The main differences between the antennas are their dish diameter, tracking speed and LNB equipment.

 

"R" stands for River
The systems of the R-Series have been developed for calm waters, especially inland waterways. Due to their optimized tracking and re-lock characteristics they are suitable for the demanding conditions of inland waters.

 

"S" stands for Sea
The S-Series antennas are equipped with the Evolution Technology, meaning they have two gyros. This technology allows them to reach a faster tracking speed and compensate for stronger ship movements. They are typically used on yachts or commercial ships that travel on open sea away from the coast.

 

"DS" stands for Deep Sea
The antennas of the DS-Series belong to the Evolution Series as well. Their tracking system is based on a combination of the EBF gyro and a 3D gyro module which ensures the most precise orientation to the satellite. The DS antennas additionally feature an automatically tracking skew axis and an increased elevation range. These systems guarantee reliable signal quality even under the hardest conditions in harsh waters.

 

"EPAK" stands for Quality
Whether you choose the R-Series, S-Series or DS-Series - you will be impressed by the performance of TV reception in standard and HD quality. The antennas receive the tracking signal directly from the satellite connection by using EPAK's patented EBF gyro technology which gives the systems unrivalled tracking accuracy.
